"This was an excellent cigar, and one I may request before facing execution by a firing squad. Flavors, complexity, and construction are all on point. I believe this is a cigar that will stand up to multiple cigars a day as the flavors are bold and evident. I'll be seeking these out if they are readily available in this exact vitola, no additional aging time is needed. Smoke this cigar after a salty fatty steak and thank me later." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

·"Overall, this was a great cigar. The transitions were interesting, I loved the move from pepper and spice to rich and creamy. It's not one that stands out as mind-blowing, but it was enjoyable throughout, and I would very much enjoy smoking more." -Derek (StogieNinja)
"I did not mind this cigar at all. It was fairly one noted, but that blend of leather and cashew work synergistically together to hit all of the right keys. I wouldn't mind having one of these in the future paired with some espresso." -Kent (Throck)

·“It was full enough to keep me puffing, but mild enough for an adventurous noob to stretch their horizons. I’ve seen one other cigar that looked like this, so maybe I can guess what it is, but I can assure you that I’ll have more of these when the reveal happens!” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

·“Overall, I truly enjoyed this cigar. It was a quicker smoke and had superb flavors coming through in the beginning. The second third started well, then faded slightly, but the overall was very pleasing. Fruit and black licorice are what you will find with this stick. So, if that interests you do yourself the favor of trying these out, you will not be disappointed.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
“This was a really nice cigar. After the first few draws, the cigar really picked up and the flavors came through. They were rich and full flavors that had a medium body and complexity. The cigar smoked well and was very easy by just lighting and going. I was initially worried about the look of this cigar, but it smoked quite well.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
"With all the different things going on in this blend, there is a unity that is achieved here that is rare in cigar blending. While I was not blown away by this cigar, I was satisfied with the expectations I had based on its stellar appearance. I normally go for really chocolatey, rich cigars. And this was definitely rich in flavor, just in different ways than I am used to. I know it sounds ridiculous to describe a cigar as "smoky" but the flavors taste like they were fresh off the grill. There were also no real touch-ups to speak of. I would definitely smoke this again. Age and a good stout would both be great for this stick." -Ryan (Youngryan216)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar and would very much so enjoy to be able to experience this premium cigar offering again. While not being the most complex cigar it provided great flavors throughout. The retro was where this blend is at with the pepper, cream, cedar and floral notes. Finish was clean AF. The petite robusto vitola is a favorite of mine and would work great in colder climates. Pick up this cigar and smoke it because Momma always said, "what is here today could be gone tomorrow." Applause." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

·“This is a cigar that I could see myself giving to a novice or a seasoned cigar smoker. The seasoned bloke will enjoy the change in pace of flavors presented on sample 529 and the novice will become introduced into the world of what a premium cigar can offer. This is a cigar that could be smoked and enjoyed after several other offerings as the profile is bold and evident. Construction was top-notch and however many hundred or thousand hands it touched before coming to fruition, it was worth it.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)
Construction was mostly fine, with good draw through a full cut and a mostly even burn with occasional canoeing and short ashes; it seemed to be a bit tightly rolled as it went out on me four times when left unattended. Lasted me for about 90 minutes.
