“I was impressed the first half of the cigar. The flavors were enjoyable and not over powering. The taste of cedar and espresso were pleasing to the palate. However, as I began the final third, the flavors gave way to a strong, sour taste. I do not enjoy this because it leaves a bad after taste. Overall I enjoyed the cigar and imagined myself smoking it by a camp fire at the beach or in the mountains.” –Eric (smalls29)

"This was a very full bodied cigar. I know that I am more sensitive to nicotine and pepper than most, but it wasn't overpowering or unpleasant for me. If I hadn't just eaten before I'm not sure if my opinion would be the same. The flavors were rich but didn't have a real evolution throughout. If you're a fan of rich full bodied cigars this is a great choice, but I would need to be prepared to smoke something this powerful again. " -Alan (Eulogy)

"Marvelous from start to finish. Maybe I'm feeling charitable, as I'm smoking this on a great nigh, but it's everything you could want in a cigar. Great draw and burn, complex flavors, satisfyingly thick and creamy smoke. I do wish there had been just a touch more pepper involved, to give it a little more character, but that's a personal palate thing. This was an excellent cigar which could be enjoyed by new smokers and connoisseurs alike, and definitely box-worthy." -Derek (StogieNinja)

I think if there was just a bit more dynamic flavor profile changes it would have put it over the top. Blind Cigar Review: Cohiba (Cuba) | Siglo VI

Overall, this was a very good, smooth and velvety smoking experience. The first and second third's core flavors of sweetness, earthiness and floral notes was delicious. The last third was unfortunate as it was mainly just dry wood and black pepper. Hopefully, more age will change that. I would recommend this to someone that enjoys a lot of Cuban cigars. The cigar is fairly nuanced without having the spice to beat you over the head. I would easily seek out a fiver of these." -Jiunn (jliu)

"I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was.
