"A very boxable cigar some hiccups but it is a handmade product and in my opinion worth a little coin to enjoy. I do wonder how they would age seems like a prime candidate for the experiment." -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)

"Enjoyable. As I've been smoking over these past few years, I've slowly begun to lose a taste for heavy maduros, but I like this one, in part because it's not too heavy. It's not particularly complex, but it features everything a maduro ought to. It's like if AJ Fernandez quit blending budget sticks and moved on to the good stuff. Highly recommended for fans of his work who want to try something just a little bit better." -Derek (StogieNinja)

·"My first impressions were negative due to the size of the cigar. Eliminating my bias towards that was easy once I started smoking the cigar. It really was a pleasant and long experience. This is still not necessarily going to be a first choice smoke for me but I can say it was flavorful enough all the way through to work for a niche smoke at the right time for me. Well constructed and good looking, I’d revisit this cigar again." -Diana (ArmyRN)
This cigar carried a bit more strength than I expected based on previous cigars from HVC. It has darker flavors which would make me lean towards smoking it in the evening or as a final cigar of a multi-cigar smoking experience. There weren’t many transitions, but that is OK as the cigars flavors were good. I wouldn’t recommend this cigar to a new smoker, but rather someone that is interested in strength along with flavors of earthiness, coffee and wood.
"This cigar surprised me since there weren't any real aromas coming off of it before setting it ablaze. The cigar gave me plenty of cream, nuts, coffee, and chocolate. The big surprise/winner here was the crackerjack flavors I got on the finish.....it's subtle but it's there. The second half of this cigar opened up with a bit more earth and dirt flavors, but it never got harsh or hindered the cigar in any way. I am very curious to see what this is. I would definitely pick up a fiver and retry it again before committing to a full box purchase. Give it a go, and see if you get the crackerjack too." -Mickey T. (irratebass)

"Overall, this was a good cigar I felt medium to full-bodied, you definitely want to eat something before you tackle this stick. I prefer a creamier smoke and this one was a bit dry but not enough to be a deterrent. I would definitely smoke this cigar again maybe ending it a little sooner before the harshness took over. All the way through the first, second, and about the middle of the final third the flavors remained fairly consistent with small background changes. For me, the leather, dark chocolate, and cedar dominated regularly throughout the smoke. For me, this will definitely be an evening cigar maybe with an iced coffee to balance out the bit of dryness. Overall, a good cigar and I would definitely smoke it again. " -Angel M. (Angel)
