"This was a really great cigar to smoke during my annual camping trip. Wasn't to light and wasn't a pepper bomb. Perfect mix of flavors paired well with a few glasses of scotch by the campfire. These will not disappoint. Enjoy." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
"This was a great cigar for a tough day. Earlier today I buried my father so I really needed something to help me relax and this was it. Add to that the fact that I was smoking with my brother (whom I haven't seen in years) and was in a great cigar lounge (Rudy's Cigars in Rockford Illinois) and it really made for a good time. If you like great flavors and a medium full strength then I highly recommend you try this. I know I'll be looking for some as a memorial cigar." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"This cigar was never in my wheelhouse, but I am happy I got the opportunity to smoke it. This cigar expands the palate from prelight to the nub of what a premium cigar can offer in terms of flavor. Maybe my palate is broken.. I have no idea, but the exhale/retro was interesting delivering the wet wood, peat, earth, citrus, salt and flighty cream. I would happily have a few of these on hand to enjoy with some rye whiskey." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
"The initial pepper was nice, but faded away too quickly. The oak flavor was nice and the transition to some creaminess was enjoyable. The retrohale transitions were nice as well. This is something I could see smoking again, but not something I would chase after." -Aaron (aaron72)
"Wow. I was blown away by this smoke. It really hit everything a non-maduro needs to hit on my checklist for me to put it in my regular smoking rotation. The sweet flavor profile and excellent construction reminded me of the My Father Flor De Las Antilles, which is one of my all time favorite cigars. This would be a great smoke for sitting by a campfire, roasting s'mores and telling stories. Or it would also shine as an after lunch smoke, as it is not overly heavy in body or too spicy in taste.
I would buy a box of these, in this vitola if the price was right." -Ryan (Youngryan216)
"This was a fun cigar with interesting notes you won't find on your typical full-flavored stick. I'd recommend smoking this when you have some time to decipher the full range of flavors it offers - maybe not for the novice smoker. And while there were a few hiccups, I'd certainly smoke another, given the opportunity - maybe a longer acclimation period would help sort out its flaws." -Jordan (Cigar Dojo)
“The minimalist flavors of tobacco and leather during the first third provided an enjoyable start to the cigar. The transition into the second third was nice with the addition of some char, coffee and grassy notes. Unfortunately not much more developed leaving me wanting an additional dimension or two.” –Gregg (McGreggor57)
"I enjoyed the flavors, the aroma was pleasant, it put off a ton of smoke. The size is good for a relaxing morning cup of coffee, and the flavors themselves pair well with coffee. I would have given it a higher rating, but due to the hole in the wrapper, it caused the draw to be weird, hardly getting any smoke, while smoke poured off the end like a tire fire." -Joseph S. (Bearded Bastard)
"This complex cigar featured some interesting flavor transitions which I highly enjoyed. The notes were all well defined and the transitions between the differing notes all made sense. I would recommend this stogie to both newcomers and seasoned cigar smokers alike." -Matt Ca. (Cade)
