The Escurio is Davidoff’s latest release and appears to be a follow up to the successful Nicaragua line. This release has its ties to Brazil. It has an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Brazilian Cubra binder and a filler combination of cubra and mata fina from Brazil, along with Dominican San Vicente.

·"This would not be my typical choice for smoking. Even though I may smoke a couple of cigars in succession, and therefore spend several hours herfing, I tend to like to switch up flavor experiences by smoking more than one type of cigar. For a cigar of this size, I found it to be more enjoyable than I would have originally expected. There were moments of monotony but not enough for me to want to be done. The mix of flavor notes, although not overly complex, provided enough variety that I enjoyed it more than not. Make sure to have time for this cigar and pair it with something that accentuates the flavor profile such as a nice hearty bourbon and even while eating a nice piece of red meat. Red wine would also be complimentary." -Diana (ArmyRN)

·"This was a very flavorful, well executed, mild cigar. The constant reminder of sweetness paired with the various other notes made this cigar a pleasure to smoke. While it did not have many flavor descriptors, what it offered was a great experience that I would definitely revisit in the future when I am in the mood for something milder and elegant." -John A. It kinda caught me off guard how slow this cigar was burning. I was about an hour and twenty minutes in and only halfway done. The burn was pretty wavy and I was tempted to touch it up a few times but let it run its course and it started burning razor sharp after the halfway point. The draw was just a tad looser that I normally like but the quality and quantity of smoke was unreal. The end kinda left my head spinning and I'm glad I had eaten before I started this review or I would have been in trouble. If you enjoy slow burning, strong, rich cigars I highly recommend picking up a few to try.

·"This cigar was very good considering the deficiencies that it produced. A very nice pepper and leather flavor profile came through and the strength was very maduro-esque. A little time to develop should help these grow into a delightful cigar." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

·“Overall this was a very good cigar for me. I really liked the peppery spice at the start and then the transition into a more balanced smoke. It kept the spice throughout which was nice. Construction wise this cigar can’t be beat.” –Wes (SosaCub4Life)
"The experience was quite delightful with the complex notes of heavy cream, cayenne, salt, white pepper and more. The tasting notes danced around as I sat back and really enjoyed it. I do wish the burn didn't have an issue though." -Allison T. (The Yoga Ash)

·"This was a decent stick with plenty of flavor transitions from third to third. The thick luxurious flavors proved ample enjoyment and relaxation. The only downside I had was with the burn as a result of an uneven construction during the first half of the cigar. Something I’d like to try again before I decide if it’s a must try...." -John A. ·"This one was really different, and that is a good thing. No more of the same old flavor profile here. Some unique flavors mixed with a great burn and tons of smoke output, that makes this a cigar I want to try again. I will be glad to find out what this one is." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)
