"I personally did not have any problems with this cigar but it never captured my interest or cigar repertoire . The cigar seemed to be infused and the transitions were nil. I would recommend this cigar to the novice or first time cigar smoker as she/he will be able to immediately define flavors even from the cold draw, and those flavors remain consistent and constant throughout the whole cigar experience." -Matt C. ·“It was full enough to keep me puffing, but mild enough for an adventurous noob to stretch their horizons. I’ve seen one other cigar that looked like this, so maybe I can guess what it is, but I can assure you that I’ll have more of these when the reveal happens!” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar and would very much so enjoy to be able to experience this premium cigar offering again. While not being the most complex cigar it provided great flavors throughout. The retro was where this blend is at with the pepper, cream, cedar and floral notes. Finish was clean AF. The petite robusto vitola is a favorite of mine and would work great in colder climates. Pick up this cigar and smoke it because Momma always said, "what is here today could be gone tomorrow." Applause." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

·"This cigar was never in my wheelhouse, but I am happy I got the opportunity to smoke it. This cigar expands the palate from prelight to the nub of what a premium cigar can offer in terms of flavor. Maybe my palate is broken.. I have no idea, but the exhale/retro was interesting delivering the wet wood, peat, earth, citrus, salt and flighty cream. I would happily have a few of these on hand to enjoy with some rye whiskey." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
"Aside from a couple minor touch-ups, the burn was good throughout. Considering how oily the wrapper was, that was pretty impressive. The ash was somewhat flaky, but it's a lancero so that was expected." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

·“This is a cigar that I could see myself giving to a novice or a seasoned cigar smoker. The seasoned bloke will enjoy the change in pace of flavors presented on sample 529 and the novice will become introduced into the world of what a premium cigar can offer. This is a cigar that could be smoked and enjoyed after several other offerings as the profile is bold and evident. Construction was top-notch and however many hundred or thousand hands it touched before coming to fruition, it was worth it.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)

·“Part of the joy of a blind review is finding out later what it is I was smoking. Well, I am very excited to find out on this one because I may be buying a box. The flavor and aroma combination was fantastic and interesting. The burn was incredible. The smoke output was HUGE. If it is a cigar in my price range, I will be stocking up.” –Matthew T. "The first two thirds showed some promise, although a bit one dimensional. The creamy leather and oak combination was very enjoyable. The final third, however, was my samples unraveling. A harsh cedar and tight draw almost had me tossing this one. Based on other reviewers experiences, this might be a candidate for the golf course." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
