·"Exceptional smoke in my estimation. Reminded me quite a bit of a Padron 1926. Big flavor, powerful, lots of smoke. Great flavors of chocolate with some background spice and sweetness. Not really a lot of transitional flavors, but the core of this was so enjoyable I really wasn't interested in going anywhere else. I enjoyed every second of this, and I'm ready to go buy a bunch more. " -John I. (John I.)

·"This was a very full bodied cigar. I know that I am more sensitive to nicotine and pepper than most, but it wasn't overpowering or unpleasant for me. If I hadn't just eaten before I'm not sure if my opinion would be the same. The flavors were rich but didn't have a real evolution throughout. If you're a fan of rich full bodied cigars this is a great choice, but I would need to be prepared to smoke something this powerful again. " -Alan (Eulogy)
Today, Drew Estate announced that they would be rebranding their Herrera Esteli lines as well as releasing two new line extensions. The two new versions are the Herrera Esteli Brazilian Maduro and Herrera Esteli Miami. The entire line will be shown off later this week at the IPCPR trade show.
Draw, burn, and construction were spot on and should be a mile marker what the quality of how a cigar should be rolled and constructed. The flavor profiles of chocolate, coffee, and leather appeared to be the dominate flavor profiles throughout the cigar which provided a nice relaxing experience. While I did not pair it with anything, a mocha latte or hot chocolate would pair wonderfully with this cigar as they would compliment each other immensely. Complexity was not in full force, however the profile was enjoyable enough to keep me happy throughout the duration of the session. Definitely something you should pick up if ever given the chance to attend a Foundation event!
"I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was. It's not a game changing cigar but it's a solid smoke and certainly worth your time. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar. It had just enough transitions to keep me interested and just kept getting better as I went along. There was a lot of creamy coco, brown sugar, leather, hay, and woodiness notes that all worked together in a really nice way. I would suggest trying one for yourself. " -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)

·"Overall this was a solid performing smoke. A bit full bodied and strong for sure, make sure you have something in your stomach before smoking this bad boy, it will hit you going into the second half. Flavors were spot on for a full bodied smoke and diverse enough to make it interesting. Try one out, may be your next full bodied goto!" -John A. (Bostoneo)

·"This was a not a flavor profile that fit my wheelhouse. Having said that, for someone who likes hazelnut and some black licorice this will be a decent cigar for them. I didn’t like the bitterness of the cigar but it did progress into a tartness that wasn’t distasteful to me. I would have thought the cigar would be stronger than it was given the types of flavors but it remained a medium to full, on the more medium side for me. A decent smoke for a specific palette." -Diana (ArmyRN)
