·"I really enjoyed this cigar and anxiously anticipating the reveal. Looking forward to adding a few to the humidor. Enjoyable flavors, almost perfect cool burn, and just a flat out good cigar. Bravo." -Adam B. (Bushboy)
"I really enjoyed this cigar. Started off mild with some nice light notes and ramped up a bit as it progressed. This is a cigar I would not pass up when I want something that isn't too over powering" -Zane G. (Zane)

·"Overall this was a good smoke. I think this would not be a good first cigar of the day, but if you had a full day of smoking this would be a nice 2nd or 3rd stick of the day. Just beware it does pick up the spice in the final 1/3rd and through the whole 2nd third, but becomes a nice pleasant smoke at the end." -Mickey T. (irratebass)

·"It's hard for me to assign a top rating to any cigar, and I try to reserve the highest mark for something really wondrous. This is about as close to cigar perfection for me as I can imagine. Big bold flavors with a lot of strength. Packs a punch but the potency was never over the top and the overall balance between strength and flavor was really thoroughly impressive. " -John I. The cigar market has plenty of special cigars to choose from. If you are looking for a cigar to celebrate a special occasion or you just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend the ESG especially in this vitola. Something about this size seems to be just the right combination for a perfect burn and great combination of flavor and strength. Since these cigars already have a good amount of age, you don't need to let them sit in your humidor for a long time before they are in the zone. Smoke them now. They are in the zone now. You will be pleased with the refined, smooth, flavorful, intense, complex, and rich flavors that only improve as the burn progresses.

·"Flavors were very consistent, which is a good thing, it didn't burn hot or anything like that at all. Very tasty all the way through, and would say it was a medium, but eventually became a medium-full." -Mickey T. (irratebass)
The La Pilar No. 4 was a great burner. Clean burn line, no touch-ups and no relights. It had consistent smoke output and a draw that improved as it went on. The smoke had a nice full texture and pleasing aroma. The flavor profile was not extreme or complex but each individual flavor component was defined and clean. I always enjoy an increase in strength toward the end and the La Pilar No. 4 delivered that very well. At about 82 minutes, its a long burn time for a box-pressed Toro. That brings more value and more enjoyment. I would gladly reach for this cigar again.
