"A really enjoyable smoke the entire way through. It reminded me of a fresh Anejo, or La Palina Maduro. I would definitely recommend enjoying this as a morning smoke with a nice cup of coffee." -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)
This is another fantastic offering in the Monster series, and I would recommend that if you haven't had an opportunity to try one yet to hunt it down before they are gone. This is a perfect example of what a complex cigar can and should be.

·"The first few thirds of of this cigar were light and what I would call harmonious. This cigar feels like it was blended for those with lighter tastes. While I liked some things about this stick, I disliked the wrapper's frailty and the muddy, final third of the experience. This would be a good stick with coffee in the morning." -Ryan (Youngryan216)
"Marvelous from start to finish. Maybe I'm feeling charitable, as I'm smoking this on a great nigh, but it's everything you could want in a cigar. Great draw and burn, complex flavors, satisfyingly thick and creamy smoke. I do wish there had been just a touch more pepper involved, to give it a little more character, but that's a personal palate thing. This was an excellent cigar which could be enjoyed by new smokers and connoisseurs alike, and definitely box-worthy." -Derek (StogieNinja)

·"This is a very enjoyable cigar, especially the first third. If time will turn the second and final thirds to be more like the first, this would be a world-class cigar. Even still, it was really good. I would definitely buy at least 5 of these. I would recommend this to anyone but a novice." -Emmett (BMP_Emmett)

·"This was a nice cigar full of robust flavors. The occasional anise, chocolate and tea created a nice contrast to the woodsy and earth tones. The balance was a little off near the end as the leather faded, but I would certainly smoke another one." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar mainly due to its unexpected complexity. I loved the initial mixture of well-balanced flavors and the enduring construction. The one downside was having to relight in the middle third. I would definitely purchase this cigar in the future for that time when I need that quick smoke." -Kent (Throck)
Let’s talk about developing your palate. When I first started smoking cigars I couldn’t tell what flavors I tasted, and like most beginner smokers relied purely on my visceral reaction to the cigar. I couldn’t tell you why I liked or disliked a cigar, but I could tell you adamantly what I liked and disliked. For the causal smoker this is probably as deep as they care to foray into the world of cigars, but I was intrigued and wanted to gain a better understanding of what it was that made me enjoy one cigar over the other.

·"Off the bat I enjoyed the sweetness and pepper flavors. The way they played off each other was enjoyable. I also enjoyed how the sweetness was like a glaze on my lips. While smoking the cigar, looking at the cigar, it was ok and was not wowed by how the cigar looked. I had to touch up the cigar and had to relight it twice throughout the smoke. As much as enjoyed the flavors in the first two thirds, the last third wrecked the experience for me. The way the cigar was constructed it burned my tongue and all the flavor were bitter. It left my mouth feeling like I smoked five cigars back to back." -Daniel S. (Daniel S.)
"This was an experience that I have never before had. The cigar started off very mild and had me wondering what was going on. However, as it approached the second third the flavors intensified first with the nice pepper flavors followed by the more intense woody and then charred wood flavors. No one flavor stood out and never made for a bad experience. Definitely one for the humidor." -Eric (smalls29)
