Blind Cigar Review: HVC | The City First Selection 52 – Revisited

"To be honest, I was completely surprised by this cigar. First impressions can sometimes be deceiving. This is not a very good looking stick, and the first third started off pretty slow, but the constant flavor transitions and strong overall performance of the cigar more than made up for that. At the end of it all, I enjoyed the stick quite a bit and would gladly smoke it again in the future." -Dave (mdwest)

"I really enjoyed this cigar mainly due to its unexpected complexity. I loved the initial mixture of well-balanced flavors and the enduring construction. Blind Cigar Review: Latitude Zero | Robusto

Latitude Zero takes its name from Ecuador, an homage to their supplier Oliva Tobacco Company’s major growing area and the origin of the gorgeous wrapper leaf gracing their new premium brand. A R13E grade (Angel’s Cut) Habano Ecuador wrapper from 2011 that’s easily the finest I’ve ever seen. Inside, a bold cocktail of vintage 2010, Nicaraguan long-fillers all from a farm in Esteli dubbed ‘The Jewel.’

Editorial: Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival – 2015

The Rocky Mountain Cigar festival is always a great event with good people, and awesome vendors. It has been growing steadily since it's inception in 2011. Unfortunately I was deathly ill last year and wasn't able to attend and see the new venue. This year I was feeling great and ready to smoke, and it didn't disappoint. Joined by our panelist Jack, we conquered almost the entire festival.

"All in all, this was a very good smoke at night. Definitely not a morning or early afternoon cigar. This needs to be smoked on a full stomach with something to wash the flavors down with. Other than that, if you are looking for a powerful cigar to sit back and enjoy, this could be in your ballpark.
