"Another great cigar that made me want another. Excellent notes of cedar, cherry, tea, peanut, and black pepper. A nice strong ash, even burn, and perfect draw made this a cigar I'd seek out. Great quick morning or late afternoon cigar." -Sean F. (fullermaine)

"Overall, this was a solid straight-shooter flavor-wise. Comprised of mostly leather, brown sugar, white & black pepper with some wood notes, this cigar meandered from medium to full body while it burned down. While it didn’t absolutely thrill me, it was an okay cigar that is sure to please somebody!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
Chogüí Cigars first hit the market in 2015. Then, in 2018 because of deeming FDA regulations and other work related opportunities, the company's owner, Victor Nicolás, took a break from the cigar industry and reassessed the company and its vision. The company announced back in February of this year that it would be returning to the market with updated branding, now they are ready to share details of the first new blend to be released.
Drew Estate is set to announce a new premium cigar brand in a new Freestyle Live Event during its May 12 “Freestyle Live: Special Edition” broadcast. Like a few new releases prior, the company is giving fans a chance to preview the brand before its global unveiling by way of a new Freestyle Live Event Pack. This concept was used in revealing the Undercrown 10 and 20 Acre Farm cigars. These new event packs will go on sale starting today.
E.P. Carrillo is adding a new size to their Encore line, El Futuro, a 5 x 50 robusto. Each cigar will carry an MSRP of $11.90 and comes in boxes of 10.
"I don't usually go for the bigger cigars but this was excellent start to finish. The sweet cocoa at the beginning that morphed into buttered toast and warm cinnamon at the midway point was perfectly balanced by charred oak and black pepper on the retro. The final inch or so got a little heavy on the wood notes but I would definitely smoke this one again after a big dinner with a nice rye to pair." -Vance T. (Vance)

·"Overall, this cigar was very consistent in terms of flavor. A few burn issues tended to rear their heads a few times during this session, requiring multiple touchups as it liked to spoon. If you enjoy medium to full-bodied notes of leather, cream, oak, and pepper, this cigar will be right up your alley. I did enjoy this sample; however I would like a non-linear experience…" -John A. (Bostoneo)
CAO is known for using some of the world’s most unique and unexpected tobaccos in its blends. Previous blends have included tobacco from the Amazon jungle, the wilds of Africa, Italy, Columbia and many more. Now, with their latest cigar, the aptly named CAO Borealis, uses tobacco from none other than Canada. This cigar is only for the Canadian market, hance the plain packaging.
Gran Habano announced a new size in the Persian King line, Type-Mod 60. During the pandemic, the company pause to reflect on where the company wanted to go next, granting owner George Rico the space and creativity to quietly work on a few of the projects that will be released later this year. The first of these is the Persian King Type-Mod 60 which features a very distinctive 6 x 60 pyramid-styled cigar on one end and tapered on the other, meaning the smoker can choose which end to start smoking it from. It is made with 100% Nicaraguan tobacco from their own farms.
Towards the end of 2020, Joya de Nicaragua and Cigar Dojo collaborated for the first time on a new cigar, the Joya Ninjaragua. The cigar was sold exclusively through Smoke Inn and came in unique triangular-shaped packs of 6.
