"I know plenty of people that would love this cigar from beginning to end. I personally just had that little trouble with the last half of the last third and it is really hard to find a word the best describes the turmoil the only word I could come up with is bitter but that isnt a fair description of the situation. Because the profile was balanced throughout the whole experience, maybe just too full for me would be a better description." -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
Plasencia Cigars has announced a new release for international markets: Year of the Ox. Unfortunately that means that we won't be seeing them in the U.S. but 2,500 boxes will be sold out of the U.S.

·"At first, I really didn't know if I was going to enjoy this one. The flavors were very good but the finish in the first third was throwing me off. Once the finish settled though, I really enjoyed this one. I'd definitely smoke this one again. The perfect pairing for me would be nice smooth bourbon or dark beer." -James H. (Keikan Jim)

·"I am usually not a huge fan of Lanceros. However, this one could convert me. Box worthy for sure if the price was right although I expect this to be a super premium." -James H. (Keikan Jim)

·"If you are in to earthy, spicy cigars, that perform well and don't disappoint, then this is a cigar for you. It developed from medium to the high end of medium full throughout that smoking experience on an almost linear level. No abrupt changes in strength or body, and no re-lights or touchups needed. While it did end up a little bitter and spicy at the end, novice smokers should feel no fear with this cigar, as long as it is paired with something to offset the strength at the end, like a nice aged rum. Stout beer would overrun it, as would cask strength scotch or barrel proof bourbon. All in all a great experience that I look forward to trying again!" -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"I really enjoyed this cigar. Transition of flavors was noticeable, but subtle. Draw, burn, finish, flavors, construction, complexity, all admirable. Ultimately, I would buy this cigar." -Randy B. (randobush)
El Artista Cigars has announced Artista Studio Works (ASW), a collaborative effort between the El Artista Factory and Dominican Artists of multiple mediums. ASW seeks to bring the life and culture of the Dominican Republic to the rest of the world through works of art and inspiration.

·"First I really enjoyed this cigar. It’s aesthetic value, even before cutting, had me excited to get started. Toothy flavor bumps did not disappoint. I really am having difficulty finding any misgivings about this smoke. Draw, finish, flavors, transitions, construction, burn, etc ....all impeccable!" -Randy B. (randobush)
